Florverde® Sustainable Flowers (FSF) is an independent social and environmental standard which ensures that flowers certified under this scheme have been responsibly produced.
Florverde® Sustainable Flowers history begins in 1996 when the Association of Colombian Flower Exporters (Asocolflores) created a code of conduct for the flower sector, which led to the creation of the Florverde® standards in 2002.

FSF requires growers to have a documented traceability system that tracks the product from where it was dispatched to its immediate client.
The FSF standard covers a wide range of issues including working conditions, occupational health, environmental best practices, protection of biodiversity, product traceability and post-harvest treatment.

Florverde Sustainable Flowers is a Resembling Scheme
FSF is in many ways similar to other sustainable certification systems that work to improve the livelihoods of workers and promote environmental and agricultural best practices.
To be Florverde® certified means you can certify your production by other standards in one single inspection if required.
