From October 2 to 4, the 29th version of one of the most important flower trade show in the world was held in Bogotá – Proflora 2019. Florverde Sustainable Flowers participated in the fair with a stand, and, along with 26 other certified companies, presented the best sustainable flowers in the world.
During the fair, relevant promotional and academic activities were carried out, such as the consultation session for the 2025 strategy of the Floriculture Sustainability Initiative (FSI), of which Florverde is a very important actor. What’s more, interviews with some of our managers and allies were also carried out, in order to show the added value of having a certification and of being a champion of sustainability in floriculture.
Additionally, the Biodiversity lives in Florverde campaign was launched, which aims to show the world that our certified farms guarantee special conditions that encourage the conservation of flora and fauna species; in turn, making certified farms a refuge for biodiversity.
We are also very proud that our companies have occupied the most important positions in the Variety Contest; hence, demonstrating the quality of the flowers certified by Florverde.
